Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you'll be met by a Zara representative and transferred to Springlands hotel or a similar hotel in Moshi for an overnight stay.

Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut
After enjoying breakfast at Springlands hotel, you'll embark on a drive to Marangu gate, from where your hike to Mandara hut commences.
Note
Please note your meals and water when on your trek is fully covered and so you won't have to worry about meals and drinks when on the mountain, though it is advisable to bring snacks for your climb.

Mandara Hut to Horombo Hut
Trek from Mandara Huts (2,740 m/9,000 ft) to Horombo Huts (3,690 m/12,100 ft), covering a distance of 11 km over 6-8 hours through heathland.

Spend a day for acclimatization on the mountain, allowing your body to adjust to the altitude.

Horombo Huts to Kibo Huts
Horombo Huts to Kibo Huts
Continue your trek from Horombo Huts (3,690 m/12,100 ft) to Kibo Huts (4,695 m/15,400 ft), covering 10 km through the alpine desert over 6-8 hours.

Summit day on Mt. Kilimanjaro at Uhuru Peak!
Summit day on Mt. Kilimanjaro at Uhuru Peak!
Summit Day! Trek from Kibo Huts (4,695 m/15,400 ft) to Uhuru Peak (5,895 m/19,340 ft), then back to Horombo Huts (3,690 m/12,100 ft), covering a total distance of 4 km up and 14 km down. This challenging trek will take approximately 10-15 hours through the alpine desert.

Horombo Hut to Moshi
Horombo Hut to Moshi
Descend from Horombo Huts (3,690 m/12,100 ft) to Marangu Gate (1,830 m/6,000 ft), then proceed to Moshi (890 m/2,920 ft). This 18 km trek will take about 5-7 hours. Spend the night at Springlands hotel with bed and breakfast.

On your departure day, you'll be transferred to the airport for your flight home, marking the end of your tour.

Please note the transfer is not included and needs to be added as an extra for this day. You can choose to be dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha. Alternatively you can arrange a ride directly when at Springlands Hotel.
